Courtiers and Knights.

This weekend was my last chance to paint more models for my Spearhead army, as everything is going to be packed for a week while some contractors paint my house. I decided to (kind of) speed-paint this handsome knight (THE White Knight, has he calls himself).

I chose the snow over ice theme from my Underworlds models instead of my Warcry warband. That helped me link some other design cues on the rest of the army (see the Knights later). I may even try an Arch Regent using Radukar The Wolf. Probably not.

Here's the family picture. They are so cute!

Nothing grants you a more steady dose of Dopamine than a bunch of models looking "alike" even when they are from different games or are heavily converted (this wasn't the case, but you understand me). I already have 15 painted Ghouls between Warcry, AoS and Underworlds, so with the Courtier now I just need to build and paint 3 Knights so I can (finally) play!

Here's the "concept" for my next (and I hope last) conversion for the Morbheg Knights*. A silhouette works better than color mockups by an order of magnitude, trust me. The scale isn't going to work as good as in this image, but I'll do my best...

(*) Yeah, I abandoned the dead horse idea a week after having built (converted and half painted) a single Knight. But I guess the "white wolf" theme matches better with the Courtier and the general "ice planet" aesthetic.

By the way, as I write this post my Cowtrek model is tied at 24% votes in the Oldhammer Forum Golden Gobbo 2025 contest. Wish me luck!
