2021 Challenge: Knightly orders.
Welcome! If you came here looking for Bretonnians you're looking at the wrong ossuary. On the other side, if you came here because you heard about the 2021 challenge on twitter, here are the rules:
- The challenge consists in converting, building and painting 5 miniatures belonging to a knightly order from the Mortal Realms or other created by you.
- There's no restriction on race, faction, realm, size or complexity.
- It's not important if any model represents a knight, his mount, a squire, his man-at-arms or a sorceress... The only premise is they must share a theme and should be painted accordingly.
- Conversions are optional, but we think that's the fun side of the matter.
- In addition to the models we'll need a text (as long as you like) explaining the story or background for your little "warband".
- We don't know yet if we'll craft some unnoficial cards and rules for the models in the future, so we can use them on AoS or Warcry games.
- Deadline is 31th of December 2021. You've got a whole year.
- We may add some extra rules along the year, maybe even organize a giveaway if some sponsor decides to help us.
As an example, you can take "The Most Suppurating and Blightsome Order of the Fly" and their enemies "The Order of the Furrow", the order I'll be building for this challenge (and it was about time). Or the "Silver Knights" we saw at the tournament in Scourge of Fate.
